Scheduled

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide quality data and superior products, the Kpler Team has scheduled a maintenance cycle for the Kafka platform.

Start: Wednesday, 28 October 2026, 08:00 UTC

End: Wednesday, 28 October 2026, 10:00 UTC

Maintenance Details:

We are upgrading our Kafka platform from Apache Kafka 3.6 to 3.9.

The upgrade is applied as a rolling update, one server at a time, so the platform remains available for the whole window, and there is no outage.

During the upgrade, your client may briefly disconnect and reconnect as connections move between servers, and you may see short-lived increases in latency. No messages are lost.

No action is required. Connection endpoints and credentials are unchanged, and your Kafka client does not need to be upgraded — Kafka 3.9 retains support for earlier client protocol versions.
